Planning is only half the battle
Deutsche Werkstätten is known for its thorough approach to planning, but of course we still have to be prepared for the unexpected. Ronny Neumann, Head of Procurement, explains:
“Even with the best planning tools it is impossible to avoid surprises during the course of a project. For instance, when a client request in mid-project calls for a highly unusual material. In a recent example, the brief was to identify a company that could supply a rare millable foam, with which to model the interior of a complete room in free, organic forms. In these cases, procurement can call on its extensive network of specialized partners and identify the most suitable source.” This remarkable approach, never to be afraid of potential problems but instead always looking for a solution, is clearly one of Deutsche Werkstätten’s strengths.
"To do this, you need imagination, creativity and the courage and confidence to just try things out"
Ronny Neumann recognizes the impressive level of know-how and experience within his department. He has complete confidence in his team and welcomes the open business culture that is cultivated within Deutsche Werkstätten.
