This year’s concert series will yet again be concluded by a recipient of the Deutschlandstipendium (Scholarship of Germany).
Pianist Shiho Fujimoto will fill our rooms with classical music, doing us the honours on our Förster grand piano.

Born in Japan, she began playing the piano at the age of three. Her achievements at the Ueno High School of Music in Tokyo were recognised with a school scholarship and she has since won numerous prizes.
In September 2020, she began her piano studies at the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music in Dresden with Prof Gunther Anger as her piano teacher and Prof Andreas Hecker as her accompaniment teacher. In spring 2023, she was awarded the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship for the 2023/24 season.
Shiho Fujimoto has previously studied with Prof Lilya Zillberstein, Prof Elisabeth Leonskaja, and Prof Yukio Yokoyama, and has recently started studying at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin.
