Antonio de Campos

An exhibition put together by Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) Frankfurt am Main and shown at the Deutsche Werkstätten Galerie in Dresden Hellerau is dedicated to the work of artist Antonio de Campos. The paintings were created between 2003 and 2016 as preliminary concepts and test designs for original work by architect Zaha Hadid. De Campos continues to develop digital and analogue representation techniques in a permanent process of experimentation to create complex collages of prints, foils and spraying techniques. This development process, the background to his work and his collaboration with Zaha Hadid will be the subject of the ‘talk with the artist’ Antonio de Campos on 25.4.2023, starting at 6 pm. The discussion will be led by Yorck Förster (Curator, Deutsches Architekturmuseum Frankfurt/Main) and Colin Ardley (Artist and Curator, Dresden). The conversation will also be conducted in English and German.
