The exhibition „Antonio de Campos, Concepts for Zaha Hadid” is an exhibition from the DAM Deutsches Architekturmuseum Frankfurt/Main. It was already shown in 2022 in DAM OSTEND and travelled to Budapest before this current presentation in Dresden. The exhibition in the Werkstättengalerie represents the continuation of a long line of co-operations between Deutsche Werkstätten and the DAM. One of the past highlights of this long common history was the presentation of “Gaudi Unseen” in 2008.

The exhibition which can now be seen in Hellerau was originally conceived by the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) in Frankfurt am Main. It provides a glimpse into the laboratory of images by the artist Antonio de Campos. Almost all the works by the trained architect and filmmaker were created between 2003 and 2016 as studies and trial designs for original objects from the architect Zaha Hadid. The conceptional demands of the dynamic form of the building together with the complexity of the interior space is transformed by de Campos into a fluid fusion of interior and exterior. He successively developed digital and analogue techniques into collages employing printing, transparent overlays and spray techniques in a process of ongoing experimentation.
